Fact Sheet
How To Be Moar Like Me is a comic series for working adults about the
modern workplace — told upside‑down, inside‑out, and a little backwards. Set
inside a fictional software company that’s far from Silicon Valley, the series
uses humor, warmth, and satire to explore truth‑telling, stress, and learning
at work. It’s about what it really means to work well together as flawed but
amazing people.
Concept
Through the misadventures of the Product Team at DoMoar Digital, the first book looks at everyday workplace frustrations — lies, burnout, ego, silence — and asks a simple question: what if work were a little kinder, clearer, and more human?
The characters teach one another, build on their strengths, make mistakes, learn about truth-telling, and let go of perfectionism.
A pervasive multicultural theme includes ideas and messages from Japan, Kenya, and Brazil in the first book.
Additional themes include working with Artificial Intelligence (AI), recognizing one’s own strengths versus perceived hortcomings, navigating an intergenerational workplace, and storytelling.
Series
How To Be Moar Like Me is a season‑based comic series. Season One, Sunshine and Tornadoes, is available now, covering twelve workweeks, or 60 comics total, each with three color panels. Two additional paperback seasons are planned for 2026 and 2027, as well as a hardcover compendium.
